We are very inspired by your story! We learned that you can follow your dreams even if someone says you shouldn’t or you can’t.

    Dear Red Rose Girls Club,
We loved reading your story. Thank you for sharing it with us. You taught us an important lesson about standing up for yourself and never giving up. Your story was very creative and we liked how you used details from real life in an imaginary story. We also liked how she was a surgeon at the end but she still kept knitting. We were inspired by how Miriama worked hard to get a job and earn money to go back to school. You used very strong words in your writing. It helped us make a picture in our minds. Also your illustrations were colorful and beautiful. We were also inspired by the part of the story where Miriama refuses to sell to her mother and her mother apologizes to her. Thank you again for sharing your story. We are looking forward to talking to you soon.
    Love,
The Girls Prep 3rd Grade Oprah Winfrey Class
